2) Groceries for "Pure taste"

Pure taste is a common denominator of many modern food systems, but for familiarization purposes here we will work mainly with the Paleo diet for its simplicity, which determines:

a) elimination of industrially processed foods and semi-
b) the exclusion of cereals and legumes.

Raw materials choose from six food groups:

vegetables - meat - fruits and seeds - nuts - eggs - honey


1) Vegetables


All kinds of vegetables except starchy vegetables (potatoes). The main contribution to restrictions of pastry is clearly higher consumption of vegetables. As a side dish you can put the vegetables cooked, raw, roasted or sour.
 

Boiled or steamed vegetables:

Broccoli, kohlrabi, turnips, sweet potatoes, carrots, celery, parsley, cauliflower, cabbage, beets, Hokkaido pumpkin, green beans, ...
Some types of cooked vegetables also used to prepare the porridge, as turnips, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, Hokkaido. Some vegetables can prepare salad, like a turnip, broccoli, beet roots.

Note: Vegetable we cook in steam or in a pot with a minimum amount of water with the lid at the mildest temperature of 20 minutes. In this way, the vegetables retain their flavor.

 

Roasted or grilled vegetables

The combination of roasted and raw vegetables can prepare a variety of salads

 

Raw vegetables and salads:

Young spinach, arugula, all kinds of lettuce, cucumber, pepper, tomato, spring onion, white radish, radish, ...

Vegetables in salads complement olives, boiled eggs, homemade mayonnaise, mushrooms, or roasted vegetables.

 

Sour vegetables

Naturally fermenting process are preparing cabbage, carrots, peppers, cucumbers, cauliflower, broccoli, radishes, turnips, onions, parsley, celery, ...

 

2) Meat

Meat in all treatments - boiled, fried, baked, smoked ... except industrially treated products containing additives

 

3) Fruits

All kinds of fruit eaten raw, boiled, roasted, dried, pureed as a smoothie with cashew nuts as a cocktail, with walnuts and coconut fat as cream ...
Note: In the mix with fruit add a pinch of salt. It highlight the sweet taste of fruit

 

4) Nuts

5) Eggs

In all uses - boiled, fried eggs, omelette, baked eggs with vegetables, fried vegetable pancakes, mixed with onion and cauliflower etc

6) The honey

Honey use where needed sweet dishes, such as stewed tomatoes, or a variety of vegetable mixture.

Note: Honey should not cook to lose valuable nutrients, so add it to dishes prefer to just before serving.
